Maison Meredith at Home | Lifestyle | The Dining Room.

August 9, 2015

Before I begin, I must warn you that these posts are going to be few + far between – at least until we hit the off-season, as we don’t have a ton of time to finish decorating our new home + so you’ll just have to wait to see it ALL!! (And I’ll have to wait to keep decorating!! Hehe)!!

One of the things I was super excited about when we bought the condo was to decorate it – but not just decorate, but to make it OUR home + to make it inviting + warm + welcoming to all who enter it : ) It has been such a fun process so far + something that both Caleb + I actually enjoy doing together!! He puts the “kibosh” on my unrealistic ideas + helps bring the others to life with his newfound homeownership abilities!! : )

Today, I’m sharing a peek into our “dining room” space!! This space was the most important to to me to finish first as this space will be the most used : ) We LOVE hosting people in our home (although not as frequently as we like during the summer months) + gathering around the table to share a meal, play games, or just talk, is something that makes our hearts SO FULL <3

BEFORE (When we moved in)

AFTER

Caleb gets ALL the credit for our dining room table! This was our first real “big” purchase since we’ve been married (well, besides the actual condo)!! He saw this when Steinhafels was having a sale + convinced me it would match perfectly in the space – and he was SO right!!!!

The top of the table is made from blue stone! Something I would have never picked out by myself but am SO happy with!!!

The gray tufted dining chairs are from Target!!

Dishes are from Pottery Barn + napkins are from Pier 1 Imports!!

These bar stools are from HomeGoods; porcelain deer head  + square mirrored-picture frame from from HomeGoods, hexagon mirror on clearance at Target!

This print I had been wanting by Garance Doré from Rifle Paper Co. was a birthday gift from my brother + sister-in-law, + these concrete candlestick holders were on clearance at Anthropologie for I think like $8 total!

The large mirror (above) was a thrift shop find + unfortunately, I don’t know where our amazing dining room light is from because it was here when we moved in!!

P.S. Does anyone want to come over for dinner now that our table is looking so fancy!? ; )

I do! I watch so many shows on HGTV (Helllloooo Property Brothers) it’s nice to see that actual people, and not trained decorators can make their home magazine worthy.
